Meet Jackie
Co-Host | True Crime Enthusiast | Nail Art Queen
Jackie, 32, was born in Northern Virginia but has called Colorado home since 2004. After graduating college, she settled in Colorado Springs, where she made lifelong friends—including her podcast partner-in-crime, Sam—and met her now husband. The two have since welcomed a wildly spirited child who’s Jackie’s mini-me in every chaotic, hilarious, and slightly terrifying way (seriously, it's uncanny).
Known by friends as fun-loving, outgoing, creative, and passionately curious, Jackie brings energy and authenticity to everything she does—especially when it comes to storytelling. By day, she works her magic in a local nail salon, creating stunning nail art designs. By night, she dives into the world of true crime, fueled by a lifelong fascination with the darker corners of human behavior.
Jackie’s favorite things include tending to her garden, cheering on the Colorado Avalanche, collecting Starbucks cups and all things Disney, and unapologetically fangirling over Taylor Swift (and yes, “obsession” might actually be putting it lightly).
True crime isn’t just a hobby—it’s in her blood. And with a co-host who shares her passion, Jackie’s ready to dig deep, get weird, and bring listeners along for every twisty, chilling story.
Meet Sam
Co-Host | True Crime Addict | Quirky Queen of the Mountains
Sam, 32, was born and raised in Colorado Springs but took a detour to Indiana for college. The mountains (and her family) eventually called her back home—and lucky for us, that’s when she reconnected with Jackie and found the perfect true crime partner-in-crime.
Described by her coworkers as funny, quirky, confident, and “pretty easy-going unless someone tries her,” Sam brings humor, insight, and a little sass to the podcast mic. When she’s not dissecting the latest creepy case, you’ll find her watching sports, diving into D&D, rocking bold makeup looks, or dominating in Prop Hunt on Call of Duty.
Sam’s love for collecting fun purses and hilarious t-shirts is only rivaled by her obsession with true crime. Her sister insists she “literally won’t shut up about it”—so teaming up with Jackie has been the ultimate outlet (and a win for everyone else’s ears).
By day, Sam works at an engineering company in Colorado Springs and genuinely loves it. By night, she’s all about cold cases, wild theories, and making murder mysteries a little more fun (and a lot less lonely).
