We've covered these cases before. But the stories didn't end when our episodes did.
This week, we're catching you up on four cases we've followed over the years. Including Alexee Trevizo, Letecia Stauch, Kouri Richins, and Robert Dear.
Alexee Trevizo’s case suffered a major setback for prosecutors after the New Mexico Supreme Court ruled that key statements she made in the hospital cannot be used at trial. Letecia Stauch's overturned conviction has taken another turn as the state continues fighting the decision. Kouri Richins has hit another roadblock in her efforts to have her post-conviction proceedings handled by a different judge. And in the Robert Dear case, the long-awaited trial will never happen after his death in federal custody. Some cases are still moving toward a courtroom.
Some are headed back to one. And some will never get the ending everyone was waiting for.
