The heartbreaking case of 15-month-old Kahleb Collins and his 2-year-old sister Ryleigh Collins. Two children who deserved so much more than the system that failed them.
What began as a deadly car crash in Fayette County, Alabama quickly unraveled into something investigators could hardly comprehend. Authorities discovered a toddler hadn’t been seen in months. What followed was an investigation that exposed alleged abuse so disturbing it shocked even seasoned investigators.
This is an incredibly difficult episode with graphic discussions of child abuse, listener discretion is strongly advised. But Kahleb and Ryleigh deserve to be remembered for more than the cruelty they endured.
Their lives mattered. Their story matters. And we refuse to let them slip through the cracks again.
